DID YOU KNOW? We've been offering free breakfast and lunch to all students for the past 8 years?! Our district is always searching for invaluable resources and opportunities to support our students and families, and thanks to the Ohio Department of Education, we've been able to keep our students fed without putting a financial burden on their families.

ATTENTION TROJANS: We've been invited to attend the Cleveland Cavaliers basketball game against the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday, Feb. 4, and if we sell at least 50 tickets through our school, we'll be able to go on the court as part of the pre-game cheer tunnel! Tickets are $49.00 and available for purchase now through the school board office. They MUST be purchased in advance, and they will be distributed after we sell at least 50. ✨Now introducing... our Friday Fun Facts series! Over the next few weeks, we'll be sharing "Did You Know?" tidbits of resources and unique opportunities our district offers. So whether you're new to the Trojan Family or you've been in Sebring for years, we hope to inform you on some of the many great ways our district takes care of our students. 📣First up, we're very excited to share that through our partnership with the United Way of Youngstown-Mahoning Valley, we were awarded funds through an Ohio Department of Education and Workforce grant they received, to continue to support our United Way Success After 6 after-school program! The past two years we've been able to offer four days a week, and under this new grant, they're offering five days! The program will begin in early October, and eligible students will be invited to complete an enrollment packet. #funfacts #trojanopportunities #trojanresources #trojansupport #trojanfamily

Congratulations to our first "Woohoo Wednesday" winners, first-grader Kalionna, and fourth-grader Braylon! Way to go with keeping your promises of being positive, safe, respectful and responsible! Each week, Principal Hanley pulls out two "purple postcards," which teachers and staff award to students who demonstrate positive behaviors. Students then "feed" the postcards to the locker for the chance to be selected. During the morning announcements on Wednesdays, Mrs. Hanley plays this year's theme song, "I'm walking on sunshine" and announces the two lucky winners, who are then called down to receive free shirts! Mrs. Hanley also reads every postcard out loud during lunch each week, and students get to pick out candy. Postcards are then mailed home for students and their families to keep. This is all part of our PBIS program, which incentivizes positive, safe, respectful and responsible behaviors! Stay tuned to learn more about our PBIS "Promise Houses" which we kicked off today!

What We're Learning: Our Spanish 3 and 4 classes kick off the year by refreshing their knowledge of Spanish verbs and vocabulary with this fun, interactive activity that gets the creative thinking flowing, too!

We're excited to announce our 3rd annual Literacy Under the Lights event, set for Friday, Sept. 27 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at our Sebring McKinley Schaefer-Davies Football Stadium. It'll be a FREE evening of fun for the whole family. We hope to see you there!

Goodbye pool, hello school! 👋 We're sad to see summer come to an end, but we're glad to start another great school year and see these smiling Trojan faces again! We had so much fun earlier this month, visiting with our students and their families at our annual Back to School Bash! Thanks to everyone who helped make it a success.
